About our practice
About Ace Counsel's London legal practice
We advise individuals, families and owner-managed businesses across London, focusing on practical outcomes rather than process for its own sake.
Clarity comes first.
Arrange an initial discussion
How we work
A clear service model
We agree the work, likely timescale and costs in writing before a matter proceeds. You have a named contact who keeps you informed at agreed points.
After each substantive discussion, we send a written summary of the advice and next steps. No guesswork.

Before we begin
What an initial discussion involves
Allow 30 minutes to explain the facts, any deadlines and what you need help with. We’ll outline the options we can identify and tell you what further information may be needed.
Bring any relevant contracts, letters, tribunal correspondence or court papers if you have them. The discussion itself does not create a solicitor-client relationship.
Start with the key dates.

Advice for people and businesses
Different situations call for different advice. These are some of the people who contact us.
- Employees and employers
- Landlords and tenants
- Freelancers and small companies
- Families and private clients
Consumers can also ask about a dispute or a second view, including when they already have a solicitor.
Where we work
Across South London and the City
We work with clients in Lambeth, Southwark, Wandsworth, Westminster and the City. Meetings can take place in person, by phone or by video call.
Where a matter calls for it, we can attend police stations and magistrates’ courts.
We’re based on White Hart Street.
A defined scope
Know what happens next
Before work starts, we set out what we’ll do, what it is expected to cost and what we’ll need from you. The plan gives both sides a clear point of reference.
- Work included and any limits to the instruction
- Costs and the expected timing of each stage
- Information or decisions needed from you
We’ll raise a change in scope with you before taking on extra work.
